Want To Be C.E.O. Then Become

Want To Be
C.E.O.
Then Become

It is so easy. Own an enterprise and run it for your livelihood. You are the CEO. Is it really that easy? Yes, if you have certain ingredients. Everybody in your small enterprise will look up to you for guidance for action or restraint, betterment, delivery and disposal, innovation & creativity, in emergencies or otherwise; you are the boss; even if there is no other person, you have to guide your own destiny with care and caution so that it makes a sense and creates a space for you in the society-the urge inside that would make you successful.

But every person can’t own an enterprise nor everyone in an enterprise become CEO. There has to be one CEO only may be a collective one like a Cabinet in a country or a Board of Directors in a company despite this CEO culminates only into a Prime Minister or a Managing Director. It is singular, plurals are not known to this terminology.

It is position which carries with it responsibilities, duties, accountabilities, challenges, odds, known or unknown, calculated or limitless without excuses and 24x7. Like Corona the unknown and hidden but man did what he could to save fellow beings. You have to perform & deliver irrespective of the circumstances and environment, emergencies and normal, natural and unnatural not only for yourself, for others also that is the most important part. One has to deal with different types of people and every time ensure success of the organization.

It requires education, skill, knowledge, experience, capacity to penetrate and persist, integrity, devotion, shouldering responsibility, dedication, stick to it attitude and strength of the character. In addition a CEO has to possess are many other qualities.

I do not think that there is any other quality so essential to success of any kind as the quality of perseverance. It overcomes almost everything, even nature.
                                                                    John D. Rockefeller

A CEO must have intrinsic faculties of character- those which are not acquired by education or experience. These are inbuilt, the gifts from God: good health, high immunity level, courage, accurate self-analysis of self-assets and liabilities, conviction, morality, inner peace and happiness, physique -that has its own role to play in impressing others; although this is God given but it has a role; however world has seen exceptions where people with deficiencies have enriched the human race and so on.

A sense to understand what is time- missing in many of us -not the time management in the modern sense, is another characteristic of a successful CEO. A clear heart and a rational head is again a nature’s gift that would help to manage life and livelihood.

“There’s an entrepreneur right now, scared to death, making excuses, saying, ‘It’s not the right time just yet.’ There’s no such thing as a good time. I started an apparel-manufacturing business in the tech-boom years. I mean, come on. Get out of your garage and go take a chance, and start your business.”
                                                                                         Kevin Plank

It’s not about having a specific set time; both personal and professional lives are 24/7. It’s simply, more about making the right allocation to each one and recognizing that it’s going to be different every single day”
                                                                                       Michael Dell

CEO should be daring and different as the circumstances demand; no calculation; no botheration about results and consequences but a determined definite a spontaneous response. Reconnaissance men tell a Commanding Officer enemy tank regiment about to attack any time, he orders his tanks to attack right then, battle is won war is over. CO gets a charge sheet for sending tanks without air cover; inquiry is over, case goes to the competent authority for quantum of punishment: case received back;

“We were the winners because CO was daring and different. Issue him letter of commendation”.

CEO has to be a good listener with eyes wide open: should listen what is being said & also the corridor gossip about health of the organization, market stories and then sieve all for appropriate action. A walk through the corridors must enlighten the head how organization is moving-fast & steady or slow and depressed.

He has to be smarter than his people-colleagues, workforce, subordinates, suppliers, vendors and researchers: smartness should be tempered with positivity for action for his people and the organization. Smartness with negativity hits hard the initiative and creativity of the people, and the institution he is leading. It turns the people off - work force achieves just the targets and is off the extra mile.

Dignity and honour very pious words. A CEO has to maintain and up hold the dignity of the office he is holding and also take care of others in this matter and always appreciate the good work done immediately and in a dignified manner. The veil of dignity can bring out the most secret information that is adversely affecting the health of any organization. Junior most must get the most dignified behavior and response.

Seniors in an organization have many things to advance  and benefit; junior have slightly less but they feel motivated and encouraged to do better if the seniors have courage to confess ignorance and personal fault when something goes wrong. As rightly said:

A man must be big enough to admit his mistakes, smart enough to profit from them, and strong enough to correct them.
                                                                        John C. Maxwell

A CEO is always different than the person who is CEO: that is the only effective way to deal with varied people in a sensible manner. He should able to avoid personal offence; should know when to offend and when to persuade. If a person is not able to understand this differentiation; he has sown the seeds of failure.

A CEO should always use institutional resources that is way to strengthen the organization and its systems and if you happen to rely on yourself and your resources those will be available to you alone and not to the system you are head of.

Every action should be authentic from the core of one’s heart. Perfunctory, sensational, childish and dramatic action can kill in five minutes the reputation, goodwill built with sustained efforts over decades.

Vision statements by the systems; beautify printed and framed are just the jugglery of words drafted by the professionals not concerned with the job. Real vision is somewhere else; in the mind of the CEO that changes with circumstances, technology, competition & competence, to be miles ahead of others. A CEO has to be doing the most important & critical jobs which may other are hesitant to undertake; like negotiations, plants visits at night, surprise inventory checks etc.

"You don’t have to be a genius or a visionary or even a college graduate to be successful. You just need a framework and a dream."                                                                                             - Michael Dell

We are really competing against ourselves, we have no control over how other people perform.
                                                                                         Mark Zuckerberg

Passion is a great asset of achievers, unless one is passionate. He can’t achieve, so is with nobody-knows qualities-the X -factors-exceptional qualities which come into play only in times of crisis. If a CEO is a store house of such qualities, company is a most advantageous.

Without passion, you don’t have any energy and without energy you simply have nothing.
                                                                                        Donald Trump

CEOs are like Vishnu and his incarnations of Sanatan Dharma of India, who presents himself the way needed to end a crisis and always aware of past, present and future. They must have solution for every crisis. They are like magicians; every time take out a pigeon from an empty satchel.

What’s the recipe for success? Start with energy, initiative and intelligence, then add a dash of integrity, a pinch of honesty, two shakes of generosity and a heavy pour of the willingness to do more than your share.
                                                                                           Warren Buffett

Yatha Raja thatha parja is the dictum. People would behave as the King does. So a company is what its Chief Executive Officer is. He is the face and reputation of the company.

Every Stress is Unique Handle with Care

 Every Stress is Unique
Handle with Care

Drop the idea of becoming someone, because you are already a masterpiece. You cannot be improved. You have only to come to it, to know it, to realize it.
                                                                    Acharya Rajneesh “OSHO”

It is not the load that breaks you down; it is the way you carry it.                                                                                                       Lou Holtz

Every human being is a unique creation of the Lord. Everyone has his own genes, habits, circumstances, environment, bringing up, likes and dislikes, level of contentment, inner happiness, worries, ways to tackle life, attitude and so on. No two persons are identical not even the twins. While dealing with stress one must keep in view this godly characteristic of human beings and also that every situation has its own intricacies and is different. No two persons feel, think or behave identical in the same circumstances; in difficult issue their stress levels are different; some feel totally broken by stress and others feel stress-free. Every stress is Unique so it has to be handled in a unique way.

Thus stress is a relative term. It cannot be measured like body temperature nor it can be treated every time with paracetamol. No code has so far been developed to prescribe standard operating procedure for tackling stressed or depressed individuals; there lies the expertise of the motivators trying to rationalize others and to bring them face to face with the ground realities.

Relativity of stress depends broadly upon one’s:
(i) Attitude towards life and
(ii) Attitude towards stressful situation

Attitude towards life is a comprehensive term it includes your attitude, approach, general outlook, way of behaving, feelings, what you expect from life, internal happiness, responsibility taking behavior, want to be part of solution or problem etc etc. One’s expectations, like money, respect, regards, welfare, contentment, social status, peace from life determines to a great extent one’s response and reaction to your surroundings and happenings therein. Even knowing all this; it is not possible to define attitude in few words, however it is built by number of factors.

First brick of our attitude towards life is laid down by our genes or inheritance, they not only decide our physical structure but also our mental faculties to a large extent. Some tribes are known for criminal attitude and others are shy and timid, still others are aggressive and out spoken.

The value system in which we have been brought up and ingrained in us, is the foundation of our character; integrity, devotion, dedication, empathy, industry, manners, respect for the rights of others, fulfilling one’s duty. The strength of one’s character is the strongest wall against stress and its ill-effects. Children are sent to boarding schools to inculcate in them self-confidence, decision making, discipline, obedience and be self-reliant.

Spirituality-that everything moves as per HIS ORDER- is another ingredient of attitude towards life and a strong belief in Him; is an additive to positivity which enhances and develops a correct attitude. Spiritual belief is a fountain of strength & truth, and that you are not alone in any adverse circumstances. One must learn to listen the voice of intuition and have the courage to talk honestly with self: these are boulders that support a correct attitude in life.

Self-esteem means confidence in one’s own worth and abilities, self-respect, self-regard, feeling of dignity and pride in one’s performance. It develops strong conviction and willingness to accept responsibility and helps to build optimistic attitudes. Job-satisfaction is an important indicator that the person has self-esteem. Obviously such persons are self-motivated and store house of delivery- a source of fulfillment and solace to soul.

Another factor that determines relativity of stress is one’s attitude towards the stressful situation.

Personal involvement in a situation determines the degree of stress. More-closely one is involved higher the stress and longer it is. Similarly age and stage in life also affect stress levels. Ordinarily elders are less stressful in difficult situations because most of the time they know the probable outcome of events.

Some of us are men of principles and others also follow some principle or forced to follow some: e.g. honesty and integrity are forced behaviors; so more the extent of compromise of these principles higher is the stress. Human beings in principle are peace loving whenever this love for peace is disturbed by any accident or incident we feel disturbed and thus are stressed. Whatever one does and likes to hide from others is stressful and open actions known to everybody have no stress for the doer. So whatever one does he must be positively convinced to be stress-free.

How we communicate is dependent on our knowledge, control and expression of language. We must choose the correct words to express our thoughts and view, right words at right time, exact words can play wonders. If nothing possible keep your communication short and simple, straight and soft, polite and polished; that would avoid many unnecessary stressful situations.

Longer a situation exists more stressful it is, sharper a situation is higher is the impact and then the time a great healer plays its own role. Tsunami is always quick and fast but short-lived, thereafter it is a time to assess the damage, dispatch relief and save the injured.

Fact of the matter is that one’s attitude towards life is one’s character and its strength; whereas attitude towards a situation is application of attitude towards life.

Thus when so many things interact with each other the techniques and application thereof has to suit the needs of time and the individual concerned.

“The greatest weapon against stress
is our ability to choose one thought over another.”

What is Stress Curse or Bliss

What is Stress
Curse or Bliss

“My dear Krishna, seeing my friends and relatives present before me with such a fighting spirit, I feel the limbs of my body quivering and my mouth drying up. My whole body is trembling, and my hairs are standing on end.
My bow Gandiva is slipping from my hand and my skin is burning. I am now unable to stand here any longer. I am forgetting myself and my mind is reeling. I foresee only evil, O killer of the Kesi demon. I do not see how any good can come from killing my own kinsmen in this battle. Nor can I, my dear Krishna, desire any consequent victory, kingdom or happiness. O Madhusudana, I do not wish to kill them (friends, relatives, teachers etc) even though they kill me. O maintainer of all creatures, what happiness will there be for us from killing the sons of Dhrtarastra? I am not prepared to fight with them even in exchange for the three worlds, let alone this earth. By killing the sons of Dhrtarastra what happiness will there be for us, Janardana?”

The extracts of words spoken by Arjun to Lord Krishna when the battle lines had been drawn between Kaurvas and Pandavas for the greatest battle on this planet-the Mahabharata-evil verses good. Krishna was Charioteer of Arjun the greatest of the warriors, physically fit and mentally alert. Krishna was the Lord-personification of the Creator. When Lord is with you; why one should come under such feelings. Obviously it was the thinking of Arjun that made him afraid of fighting and Lord could convince him only after a full sermon running into 700 Shaloks -Bhagavad Gita and showing him his real self the Viratroopa.

Thus it is evident, that the origin of Stress lies in one’s thinking-negativity thereof, feeling of helplessness & inability to achieve anything, worry without basis, demotivation to enjoy life, self-anguish, and internally pale self. It is not a bodily action but a long term continuity of stress of does affects the body functions.

In simple words it is fight between the demands made on us may be physical, emotional, imaginative or just non-sense and our capabilities to meet those demands by fulfillment, rationalization, or coming to face with the realities. The imbalance – space - between the two is stress. Longer you carry it on your head more likely are the adverse to face and physical adverse effects are definite and more likely; may be mental sometime if you take the matter too seriously. Issues are to be resolved, facing life is a journey, so decide to face or leave the field. Runchor-the Lord Krishna became and settled at Dawarka simply to avoid a war for welfare of people. If a person continues with worries unfounded, not seen or felt, he sometimes develops suicidal tendencies. However it is difficult to define stress in very clear and exact terms.

Since stress relates to thinking process: not to physical brain made of flesh and blood: a person is master of the show. He can make it his friend or a foe: curse or a bliss. He is his own physician. Remember you have the greatest strength to tackle it others have sympathies just to remind you of your weaknesses and shortcomings that would make you more stressful. So decided quickly to fight or flight. Take a rational decision; can always take help of disinterested seniors - persons not influenced by considerations of personal advantage; but final decision lies with you: don’t through responsibility on anybody else for whatever may be outcome.

Both are good alternatives. When you decide to have a flight from the stressful situation you decide to leave everything to the Mother Nature or the father Lord their action is final and you have to accept it. Obviously the action is taken by somebody else so the fruits would also be his: you will have to happy with whatever is left by him.

Abraham Lincoln rightly said, “Good things come to those who see and wait, but only those things left by those who hustle.”
“Don’t try to force anything. Let life be a deep let-go. God opens millions of flowers every day without forcing their buds.” —Osho

“There are times when we stop, we sit still. We listen and
breezes from a whole other world begin to whisper.’

James Carroll

If you decide to fight it is still better choice; it gives you an opportunity to accept a stressful situation as a challenge and fight it out with full force of the resources, abilities, competence, day and night, with eyes wide open and above all a positive attitude that “I will win”. Even if one does not succeed to the extent he wished; he has the learning, experience, knowledge to do better next time. One must honour the achievement and need not regret what could happen.

“Put your heart, mind, intellect and soul even to your smallest acts, this is the secret of success.”
                                                                            Swami Sivananda.

So Stress is Curse & Bliss both:
 Choice is with you,
Make him a friend or foe as you like.

Spiritual Faith Absorbs Stress

Spiritual Faith Absorbs Stress

The quality of being concerned with human spirit or soul as opposed to material or physical things is called spirituality-the dictionary meaning. Some defines spiritual practice as one’s journey towards moksha awareness of self, the discovery of higher truths, true nature of reality, and a consciousness that is liberated and content.

The spiritual is ordinarily associated with prayer, meditation, a feel that HE exists, a firm belief that He is the guiding spirit much above the time and space and so on but whatever else it might include it cannot essentially have anything to do with man’s social existence.

Prayer is most important inclusion of spirituality as it is most commonly understood by men of all religions and faiths. When prayers are accepted: you get what you desired; brings you nearer to yourself and HIM and deepens your faith in HIM. Realization of Self is the highest level of prayer that helps you to view the situations in correct perspective, an intellect and a patience booster.

Meditation is another end of spirituality that strengthens one’s faith in the Almighty. Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique as mindfulness or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought or activity- to obtain attention, awareness and clarity. Ordinary people try to focus on a spiritual personality to gain calmness, to listen what HE has to say about your prayers. Your body is at rest and you are trying to make your mind also at rest-thinking nothing just a vacuum - if you attain that it is a bliss. Some do achieve such a state of mind.

When we perform our tasks as devotion to divine such a behavior leads to firm faith in the Almighty. If we offer our food to God before eating it becomes Prasad and HE becomes a partner harbinger of good luck, many make him to enter first in their work place

Prayer and Meditation are based on firm faith and absolute surrender to HIM. Unless we have faith in the Almighty even the charity, penance and sacrifices will not lead to the desired results.

Many a times people ask does HE talks to a person: certainly not directly as another human being-His acts do. Just to illustrate once I was going to a temple and on the way there was another temple devoted to another God and we decided to skip and pay our obeisance on return journey. You won’t believe from a party of about 15 persons on return journey everybody had Darshan but the doors were closed before two of us-those who had decided to skip-could not enter. On next visit before starting I made prayer with folded hands from the core of my heart that we would be following the same order: we may kindly be excused and He created such a moment that in a temple usually full of devotees we found ourselves alone and free to stand before HIM as much as we like. HE was standing before us to bless. In fact HE was waiting for us. On another occasion we were in a temple to pray and have Darshan of the Lord, when I turned I saw my son praying with tears in his eyes, when we reached home we found what was asked for by my son was granted and a telegram was waiting for us There is perhaps a system of telepathy and tuition between HIM and has devotees. He knows everything before people speak to HIM. Your experience with HIM will strengthen your belief and faith in HIM.
Guru Granth Sahib has put it as,
“Vin Boliya sab kichh jaandaa,
 Kis aagaye keejeiye ardaas”
Meaning “He knows everything without being told unto whom should we offer our prayer.”

Even Albert Einstein said:
“Coincidence is God’s way of remaining anonymous.”
Continue to do what you can to relieve your stress but leave the results to HIM and certainly HE will be there to help and guide you. Spiritual belief gives strength, confidence, positivity, fruits of action, a sense that there is somebody with you to guide and protect you, a cushion to absorb shocks.

The Bhagavad Gita – Song of God –  and others enlightens us as follows:

I am the beginning, the middle and end of all beings.
                                                                 Bhagavad Gita (10.20)

There is no being –moving or unmoving that can exist without Me.
                                                                  Bhagavad Gita (10.39)

The faith of every man accords with his nature. Man is made up of faith; as is his faith so is he.
                                                                       Bhagavad Gita (17.3)
Without faith, whatever offering or gift is made of work done or penance
performed it is reckoned “not being” both now and hereafter.
                                                                    Bhagavad Gita (17.28)

You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul.

                                                                    Swami Vivekananda
Without faith there is no knowledge,
Without knowledge there is no virtuous conduct,
Without virtues there is no deliverance,
And without deliverance there is no perfection.
                                                                       Uttaradyayana Sutra

So always remember He is with you everywhere to guide and bless you, have faith in him and He   absorbs Stress.

Stress The Slave of Confidence

Stress
The Slave of Confidence

Always be yourself and have faith in yourself. Do not go out and look for a successful personality and try to duplicate it.                Bruce Lee
It is confidence in bodies, minds and spirits that allows us to keep looking for new adventures.                                                     Oprah Winfrey
With realization of one’s own potential and self-confidence in one’s ability one can build a better world.                                         Dalai Lama
If you are insecure, guess what? The rest of the world is too. Do not overestimate the competition and underestimate yourself. You are better than you think.                                                                     T. Harv Eker
Stress is a phenomena that needs a frontal attack with confidence in one’s efforts. Confidence is not a button off and on process nor it can be obtained overnight. It is the product of determination, deliberation, decision, duration, discussion and understanding. It reflects one’s strength of character and purity in thinking.  It requires:

1. Sincerity with your own self, courage to talk to oneself.
2. An analytical assessment of self - merits and weaknesses;
opportunities and threats i.e. SWOT analysis.
3. Correct knowledge of financial and other resources.
4. Exact knowledge as to what is the cause of stress.
5. Action, performance and delivery

What should be the level or merits of action? Results can be achieved only with dedication, devotion and integrity coupled with confidence in one’s own self.

The Bhagavad Gita-The Song of God, The Sermon from the Lord Krishna to dejected and depressed Arjun in the battle field of Mahabharata, in Chapter 2 Verse 47 prescribes the nature of action as follows:

कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते  सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि।।2.47।।

Meaning

“Our right is for action alone, never for the results. Do not become the agent of the results of action. May you not have any inclination for inaction.”

Leaving aside the spiritual aspect; message is clear that an individual has the right to act; control over doing and the dictum is as you sow so shall you reap; harder, determined, dedicated, devoted is action sweeter are the fruits. Halfhearted actions do not bear any fruits they are just perfunctory to show to others that you are doing something. Results of action depend on many thing besides one’s action: it is the environment, circumstances, opportunity, team work, leadership, choice, time etc etc. Action breeds confidence and courage; in action brings doubts, fears, lost opportunities and a depressed sense “Why I did not do it”. So stand up and act.

The X factor, the unseen, also called the luck, plays its own role sometimes. So play the game well do not bother about goals that will help you to increase your concentration. An excellent play has excellent results. If one concentrates on the goals his game is spoiled and so the results. Put all your energies physical, financial, mental, knowledge, skill, experience in action. See only bull’s eye not the bull. All these thing will increase your level of confidence, your “I can do it” attitude, the most essential ingredient of delivery.

Confidence is built as above; otherwise it becomes over-confidence a seed of defeat and failure. Confidence created by devoted and dedicated efforts is the important stepping stone for a colourful performance. Have faith in yourself.

Confidence is when you believe in yourself and your abilities, arrogance is when you think you are better than others
and act accordingly.

-Stewart Stafford-

One important key to success if self-confidence. An important key to self-confidence is preparation.

-Arthur Ashe-

Stress an Integral Part of Life Learn to Live with it.

Stress an Integral Part of Life
Learn to Live with it.

Creation of the Bharamand-the Universe is greatest of the mysteries. The Bharamand consists of millions of Galaxies and this earth is just a planet in one of the Galaxies-the Milky Way-the Akash Ganga as popularly known in Hindu scriptures. The process of creation of universe still continues-everyday many stars get created and others become black holes- the dead stars. The science is still trying to find out an answer to this question as to how this Universe came into being. Once created, the Creator wanted it to be peaceful, calm, quiet and enjoyable. So he created out of himself a soul-a part and parcel of Himself-much before the man was created. This is, why thinkers believe that the Creator lives in each of his creations. The soul being part and parcel of the Creator had to be peaceful, calm, quiet, pleasure giving, and an epitome of bliss, always one with divinity, spirituality and morality. Some men even today are pious souls: others a large number has one or more of these qualities.

The duty of creation was much later given to sex specific species by the Creator. This started the concept of sex, which as the civilization advanced developed into two branches one was embodiment of love, affection and living in groups subsequently known as family living within the shadow of divinity, spirituality, morality and ethics. The other branch behaved more like animals in the matter of hunger, living and sex. This is how the prostitution was born and became the oldest profession of the world.

Manu and Satarupa-Adam and Eve were the first male and female human beings. Millions of years after, human beings in herd started wondering in the vast open spaces on this earth. These species had in them both good and bad virtues as per their nature. The herds of animal-man species brought three things with them:-

1. The early man whenever hungry ran after animals to kill and eat or he ate whatever vegetation gave him. When he could not find something to fill his hungry belly he was furious and calmed down when stomach was full. This behavior in the modern terminology came to be termed as tension. Time gave the man many good things like fire, wheel, wild natural fruits and time came when men learnt how to grow food. Lure of specific food created in him the urge to find and hence the anxiety to find his choice.  With advancement of urge to find new and development of scientific temperament subsequently his needs increased, and his living become more complicated. Right up to 17th century ordinary people had two functions-eat and to produce. As the food for ordinary man became ample, this tension became more complex involving other physical and emotional needs which is known as STRESS. Just see earlier people were happy to have as many children as reproductive years allowed; few years back “We two ours two” became the motto. Now people not only space but also delay even the first child with the exception still there are many who consider children as the gift of God. On the every turn of life there is some problem and response to it may lead to anxiety, tension or stress real or imaginative. This day everybody has some reason to remain worried or say under stress.

2. The desire to eat and satisfy their hunger without labour of hunting or doing anything had always been dominant with all animals including humans. When men found fruits or flesh without plucking or hunting perhaps belonging to somebody else he was too quick to enjoy without limitations. This desire to enjoy without earning is still the most prominent desire with men all over the world. As the time passed different names were given to this practice like: a cut, gratification, bribe, weekly, speed money and when the amount and a group moved together to grab what is not earned it came to be known as scam, money laundering and Swiss Banks became the safe place to keep such filthy dirty money. Collectively this practice is called CORRUPTION – collecting without earning or entitlement.

3.  As soon as gender specific species appeared, reproduction was the natural process; early man behaved in this matter more in a natural way male had the urge and the female in state to conceive: not like the modern man. As man became more aware: he developed the free for all in the matter of sex. That became his passion. Even today majority is in favour of free sex and the man has created his own versions like live-ins, gays, lesbians, sex-shows, inter-net adult-porn sites, misuse of web cams, rape, unnatural sex with man and animals, adultery, same sex marriages and so called relationships. Money for sex or sex for money; may be cash or kind, was and is common among humans for thousands of years. This is also called the flesh trade, the PROSTITUTION perhaps as old as the man himself. Saying is it is easy to enter but difficult to come out of this trade.

However Kama Sutra written Vatsyayana is a treaties on Art of Living including sex life. Hinduism has given sex a place of pride in their scriptures and even the religious places and a few of them are still full of various poses etc.

Leaving aside Kama Sutra practically speaking these three negativities stress, corruption & sex are integral part of human existence on this earth. As such they cannot be eliminated. They will remain there in a degree more or less, in one form or the other and will depart only when the earth becomes a vast stretch of barren land without any life and vegetation.

Stress, Corruption & Sex are, in fact, embedded in very human nature and existence, so we have to learn to live with them and to contain them instead of fighting with them to make them extinct.

Remember the First Day Always To Reach the Last Day in Office

Remember the First Day Always
To
Reach the Last Day in Office

Matriculation - the tenth class was a big thing during forties and fifties and those with first class-more than sixty percent marks were considered intelligent. Sixties & seventies were years of graduates. Eighties & nineties belonged to specialists-engineers, doctors, hotel management, architects, business administration and so on. In 21st century we want super intelligent persons with command over humanities as well as science coupled with artificial intelligence the computers. Prior to thirties middle pass or a grasp at reading and writing was good enough to get job of a clerk. This is how people prepared themselves for a livelihood where education was required.

Then starts the process, running about competitions- written & oral – liked not liked- in India or abroad- viva-voce- interview-medical tests-modern avatar of online interview-personality tests-even your face beautiful/handsome. That is paraphernalia through which one has to pass before he gets a pass - the appointment letter to enter a premises-shop, workshop, office, MNC, Dafter, a plant, secretariat, training academy etc. to earn his first rupee with a feeling “I have earned it.”: always reluctant to part with it.

A prudent tries to ensure there is no error on his part on the first day: he has the pride and fear too: behaves in very sensible manner: it is place of his dreams: goes to administration branch supervisor shy enough to speak even the audible: speaks twice thrice to get a positive nod: Sir raises his head to say yes and he hands over his appointment order: is directed to the dealing. He goes to the dealing hand who is too busy to pay attention: only after sometime he is offered a seat and asked what is required. He tells that supervisor has directed him for seeking allotment to Branch: the dealing hand takes the appointment order after taking out case file goes out of the room and returns only after 10-15 minutes when one waits patiently. He hands over a set of proformas to be signed at places marked in pencil and the new recruit signs and gives back with a few minutes even without reading or asking for as to what is being got signed and one of form says that his service can be terminated within a period one year without assigning any reasons. Such an important paper is signed without obtaining knowledge as to what it is. The dealing hand obtains the orders of the supervisor and hands over the allotment slip; directs him to a particular Branch; he asks for the room numbers and goes away. Now the man runs to the room where action lies. Again goes to the head who directs him to a particular table and tells sit quietly that they will talk later. It is now lunch times. On return from lunch called by the supervisor; offered a cup of tea and allotment of work order commonly called Distribution of Work among dealing hands (DOW) also briefs him about his responsibilities and duties. He express his resolve to do his best to perform the duties assigned. Arranges his papers and files. The day is over: tomorrow is not the first day of service.

Many a times new recruits are sent to a training class or an academy for training as to the rules and regulations. It is always a on the job training for the job portfolio and it is the immediate boss who plays an important role.

Just analyze the first day: the man has lot of pride as he got the appointment after a hard competition; feels good to be part of that organization; is submissive, patient, respectful, listens carefully, speaks slowly, has the desire to move and is obedient. He is not annoyed when the dealing hand goes out of the room for 10-15 minutes perhaps thinks that he has more important work to attend. He signs important papers without reading in his anxiety to grab the task. Another view is: he is more interested in work than the formalities which have to be completed before he is offered the work to be done. He is pure, not interested in anything else, exhibits all qualities of a good worker

Another important thing about this relationship is: that it is a formal relationship which is based on two things that the employer wanted some job to be done for a price-the wages and you offered your services for that price. If these bases of the relationship are disturbed by either; the other gets the right to terminate the relationship at any time he like subject to some formalities. When one joins as an officer he has to be more careful. You must respect all those even at the lowest level with whom you are working because they would guide you to the intricacies of the job.

Consistency in behavior; understandings formal nature of the relationship that would be the stepping stone for his advancement in  life  and reaching the last day in office or job when he would be sent home with a bouquet.
